‘A False Incentive on MSW Incineration’: Since the low contribution to the electric generation during combustion process, biomass can’t be treated as the renewable energy simply. Besides, compared with the other ways of energy utilization or waste treatment, waste incineration is inferior in many ways such as the cleanliness, sustainability of the materials and carbon emission. Therefore, we believe it is a false incentive to give renewable energy subsidies to those waste incinerating power generation facilities without identification and conditions. We advise the government to banish renewable power subsidy policy to the facilities of solid waste incineration for electricity generation.
