Jennifer Wang 女士, Health Care Without Harm

将健康评价纳入能源决策的前提是系统认识不同能源在全生命周期带来的公共健康影响。来自国际无害医疗组织(Health Care Without Harm)的Jennifer Wang 女士将介绍该机构在健康能源项目(Healthy Energy Initiative, HEI)中所推动的国际协作,并分享她和美国知名健康科学专家、University of Illinois 教授PeterOrris 合写的综述文章《能源选择的健康影响》的主要内容。

Speaker introduction

As the global coordinator for the HEI project, Jennifer Wang facilitates a worldwide collaboration of health professionals, health organizations, and health researchers engaging in science-based advocacy for a move away from fossil fuel-based power generation toward clean, renewable, healthy energy options. 

She has over ten years of experience in research and advocacy at the intersection of health and the environment. She worked with scholars and practitioners to develop multidisciplinary research collaborations and policy recommendations at the Center for Effective Global Action at UC Berkeley, and at the Center for Health, Intervention, and Prevention at the University of Connecticut.Jennifer holds a MSc. in Global Health and Environment from UC Berkeley,and a B.S. in Chemistry from Rice University.
